One of my favorite spots to visit when I'm back home! No frills cafe, yet still nostalgic with simple decorations. There are a few tables and booths--we were able to seat a party of 8. Everything was so tasty and fresh, just the right amount of sweet and salty. My favorite things to get are the fantuan and congee with preserved century egg.

The American - style rural decoration, with wooden elements and retro ornaments, creates a warm atmosphere. The interior environment is spacious and comfortable, feeling like home. The waiters are kind and friendly, and their service is attentive. Worthy of praise.

4++ small low frills cafe that seems to be family owned and operated and is one of those spots where it is frequented by lots of locals. It looks like a great place to grab a Taiwanese breakfast for a really reasonable price. I would love to come back and just have a relaxing morning here. My trip in particular was to come by and pick up a Chinese donut. I came in and asked to order to go and was helped by a very friendly person. There was a slight language barrier, but luckily I remembered the Cantonese word my mom uses for the Chinese donut, haha. (I'm Viet). I was told to grab a donut here and pair it with some congee at another specific location so that's what I did. The donut is huge and it's very cheap. That's why I would love to come back to support this place and order a proper full meal here. There's also some frozen dumplings so you can purchase to go and prepare or heat up at home. Just a really great place with my limited experience here.

10/10! Hands down the best congee I have had in ANY restaurant in the states. It was authentic and you could really taste the love and care they put into the dish. What a treat!

These Chinese donut is way too thick but otherwise a solid spot among locals for Taiwanese breakfast. You can enjoy soy bean milk and Chinese donut amongst others.

If you could only get one thing from here, i would say the fried cruller is the way too. It's just so perfect with your porridge or soy milk. They also use it in their fwan tuan, perfect combination of texture and taste. i'd order two next time i'm back here. The beef noodles portion was good and tasted fine. Lots of parking available and located on the right side of the structure when heading in from the entrance.

This restaurant been in the area for many years, I always visit when I am in San Gabriel area. Most people here speaks Mandarin however the cashier / order taker still does speak English. All the food made is so authentic and literally all are my favorite. However the most ones is the Turnip Cake with adding cake as optional & Fan Tuan which basically a rice roll with fried dough sticks, pork floss and pickled daikon. Other recommended menu that I always eat is Shao Bing aka Beef Sandwich, I guarantee you guys will not be disappointed.

Fast casual place you can either order at the counter or on the app by your table. We ordered soy milk with fried cruller. Add your own sugar for the soy milk but I didn't add any. Fried cruller was good but greasy. We really enjoyed our salty rice roll. I like it better than Yi Mei that's where we usually go to. (Sorry Yi Mei) we also ordered leek pie and pan fried egg cake. It was very delicious. Only thing that I would change for leek pie is it's not flavorful enough. But otherwise we really enjoyed our meal there. Oh and can't forget the mochi.! It was good too

If you're craving Taiwanese breakfast, this is the place to go! Everything was amazing so it's hard to choose a favorite. But I never had the Chinese donut which was super crispy and chewy on the inside. My so taught me to dip the donut into the porridge which was life changing. We also had the fan tuan and it was also super delicious. The rice was chewy and moist. We went on a week day so it wasn't busy at all. You order through a QR code given on the table so the ordering process was super easy. Definitely coming back here again!
